hornet

Hornet
Hornet is a insect that loves to eat honey. In each year its kill 40 people . He goes to nest of honeybees & left his smell on it & more hornet will come and attack on the honeybees and take their honey.

Life cycle

At this time, the queen starts producing the first reproductive individuals. Fertilized eggs develop into females (called "gynes" by entomologists), and unfertilized ones develop into males (sometimes called "drones"). Adult males do not participate in nest maintenance, foraging, or caretaking of the larvae. In early to mid autumn, they leave the nest and mate during "nuptial flights"

Attack
Three biologically active chemicals, 2-pentanol3-methyl-1-butanol, and 1-methylbutyl 3-methylbutanoate, have been identified for this species. In field tests, 2-pentanol alone triggered mild alarm and defensive behavior, but adding the other two compounds increased aggressiveness in a synergistic effect.[8] In the European hornetVespa crabro, the major compound of the alarm pheromone is 2-methyl-3-butene-2-ol.

Stings

The stings of the Asian giant hornet (Vespa mandarinia japonica) are the most venomous known, and are thought to cause 30-50 human deaths annually in Japan and 42 in China in July-September 2013 alone. Non-queens being 1.4-1.5 inches in length, the Asian giant hornet's venom can cause allergic reactions and multiple organ failure leading to death, though dialysis can be used to remove the toxins from the bloodstream.

SAVE ANIMALS
It's super-easy to help animals, no matter how old you are. Check out how Save Animals to get a jump-start on making a huge difference in the lives of animal everywhere: Animals are alive for their own reasons, not to entertain us. Animals in movies, circuses, and zoos are denied everything that is natural and important to them. They will never be allowed to hang out with their families, graze, or do anything that they would do in the wild. Refuse to support this cruelty by never going to a zoo, marine park, or circus that uses animals. If your class is planning on dissecting any animal, ask your teacher for a humane alternative assignment, such as using a computer program to perform a virtual dissection. An animal will be saved, and you will actually learn and remember way more! Check out more info on how to get a dissection alternative at your school.

 THE END
THANK YOU
